Well Twitter turned 6 years old this week, and with this came the announcement that they now have 140 million active users. With over 340 million Tweets a day, it starts to become clear that Twitter is a marketing tool that should not be ignored.

Now is the time to make sure you website is organised for the holiday season. Not only from a customer service perspective, but also as a means to generate sales leading up to Christmas and beyond.

Below we have covered a few things to consider when thinking about getting your website ready for the Christmas period.

It’s a time to thank your loyal customers.
- Thank your customers; This means have your Christmas & Holiday messages up there now. Posting a thankyou message via your website or your email/newsletter is also a great way to remind potential customers that you are around..

Closed for Christmas?
Are your trading hours or days changing for the holiday break? If so let your visitors know now!, Don’t wait for them to try and contact you one day before Christmas to buy something only to find out your on holiday for 2 weeks!

Decorate your website!?
Decorate your website for Christmas… Hey, if anything it shows your website is up to date!

Make those pre-christmas sales!
Promote any deals and specials you have. Promote Promote Promote. Your customers might be looking for gifts for themselves or gift ideas for family. Let them know about the unbelievable deal you have leading up to Christmas.

Just because everyone else is on Holidays it dosn’t mean your website has to be!
You might have decided to reduce your marketing budget over the Christmas break or Why not use some of that budget/time to help market your website online? Australians shop online more regularly than people in most other countries

Australian’s are topping the list in the latest research into online shopping, showing that we spend an average of $206 a month. Research from Swinburne University also shows that older age shoppers in the 50-64 age bracket have increased their shopping habits from an average of $257 to $258 per month.

”We found that 25% of Australians were buying at least once a week, compared with 17% of Americans and less then 10% of Europeans, Israelis or Japenese” said Mr Ewing, senior researcher at the Productivity Comission.

Brian Ebersole Website Launched

Plenty more to come over the next few weeks leading up to UFC 133 and beyond! Brian Ebersole is a seasoned MMA fighter, with fights in the IFL, Strikeforce, and a recent fight in the UFC, with another one coming up next month in Philadelphia.

Brian’s website contains his own blog, MMA news, competitions, video and image galleries, and soon will have the ability to allow fans to reply to Brians posts. We have also included links to his shirts available for purchase, however soon we will have Brian’s merchandise available direct from his own website.

Brian “Bad Boy” Ebersole is a threat in the cage, but out of it an all round nice guy. It was our pleasure to help Brian get his new site launched.
